What Akvido is
Akvido makes official water quality analyses readable: tap water distributed in France, and bathing sites listed across Europe.
Akvido takes no samples, runs no laboratory and produces no measurement. The service reuses, presents and explains public data produced by others.
Where the data comes from
Two public sources, and only these:
- Hub'Eau, the French national water data portal, for the results of health monitoring of distributed drinking water.
- The European Environment Agency, for the quality and classification of European bathing sites.
Consultation happens directly from your browser to those two services: your searches do not go through Akvido's servers. Reuse conditions are those set by the data producers, whose authorship Akvido does not claim.
What Akvido is not
Akvido is neither medical advice, nor a health assessment, nor an inspection body. It does not replace the regional health authority, your water utility, or the operator of a bathing site.
If you have any doubt about the water supplied to you, or in the event of an official warning, those bodies are the authoritative source.
Freshness and accuracy
The analyses shown are those published by the sources above, with whatever delay is inherent to them. A figure may be old, incomplete, or corrected afterwards by its producer.
An error in a measurement must be reported to its producer: Akvido cannot correct it at the source. An error in display, translation or interpretation, on the other hand, is ours, and we fix it.
Intellectual property
The data remains that of its producers and is distributed under their own reuse conditions. The presentation, the explanatory texts, the interface and the code of the site are the work of the publisher.
Hosting
The site and its member area are hosted on a shared server. The name, address and telephone number of the host appear in the box at the top of this page and must be filled in by the publisher.
Reporting a problem
Any error, any inaccurate content and any request regarding your personal data should be sent to the contact address given at the top of this page.
Applicable law
The service addresses the public of the European Union. The applicable law and the competent court depend on where the publisher is established, which remains to be specified at the top of this page.
